Selaginella apoda life cycle annotated with Plant Ontology vocabulary

In a first of its kind, we present an animation of Selaginella apoda life cycle, annotated with Plant Ontology (PO) Terms. The original animation was created by Ciaran Maloney from the New York Botanic Garden. The annotated version with Plant Ontology terms was created by Laurel Cooper, curator from the PO project. The video shows the progression of growth and developmental stages of the of plant Selaginella apoda, a lycophyte.
